Moe's double-double lands him Liga MB Hoops Agents Player of the Week award- November 9, 2021
He had a double-double of 37 points and 24 rebounds, while his team outclassed Santiagueno (#10, 1-14) with 64-point margin 131-67. Brujos maintains the 4th position in Salvadorean Liga MB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Brujos will need more victories to improve their 9-5 record. In the team's last game Moe had a remarkable 73.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Brujos' top player in his first season with the team. Millersville University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moe is in league's top in points (4th best: 28.6ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 17.5rpg) and averages solid 2.4bpg and 57.4% FGP. Second best performed player last round was Giovanny Martinez (206-C) of El Rapido. He is Puerto Rican center in his first season at El Rapido. In the last game Martinez recorded impressive double-double of 26 points and 23 rebounds. Of course he led El Rapido to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Chalchuapa (#9, 2-15) 123-87. El Rapido's 8th position in the standings has not changed. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories El Rapido managed to get this year. Martinez is a newcomer at El Rapido and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. Third place about best performers goes to another Brujos' star - guard Jeremee Davis (191-PG-90). Davis showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, eight rebounds and thirteen assists (!!!) in the last round. He was another key player of Brujos, helping his team with a 131-67 easy win against the lower-ranked Santiagueno (#10, 1-14). Brujos needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 5 lost games. Davis has a great season in El Salvador. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.5ppg (8th best) and assists with 8.5apg (best passer).
